The name can be reactivated up to 29 days after its expiry date without extra charges.
Redemption period:
After the end of the initial quarantaine period, the domain name remains reserved for the previous owner during 30 days. Reactivating the domain name at that point will however cost € 35,00 on top of the registration fee.

In order to be able to register (or renew) a .radio domain name, you need to proof that you have a nexus with .radio. This entails almost anything related to radio-making. Obviously the national and local radio's may register a .radio domain name and also internet radio's can register their name under .radio. But also suppliers of services or goods specifically used in the radio-industry may apply, just like radio-related events.
A link between the domain name and the person requesting the name must also be proven.
The .radio-registry will verify every request and you may be asked to proof your eligibility.
Also radio-amateurs may register their call-sign under .radio and radio presenters can register their own name under .radio. To these last two categories, we can give a substantial discount. So let us know if you're interested in this.
