No support for IDN. Only default Latin characters (without accents) are supported. Other characters (which are only possible via IDN) are not allowed to be used inside a domain name ending in .co.no.

DNSSEC is supported by .co.no to extra secure your domain name
Quarantaine periode:
The name can be reactivated up to 13 days after its expiry date without extra charges.
Redemption period:
After the end of the initial quarantaine period, the domain name remains reserved for the previous owner during 40 days. Reactivating the domain name at that point will however cost € 50,00 on top of the registration fee.

Only for Norwegian companies. Maximum 20 domain names per company. Or individuals with a Norwegian ID card, up to 5 domain names per person.
Due to a ban on online gambling in Norway, domain names related to gambling are not allowed within our local presence. Domain names related to gambling that are registered using our local presence, will be reserved but will not be technically activated.
If you don't have a local address, then you can use our Local presence. This is available at € 94,00 for the first year and € 94,00 for every subsequent year on top of the registration fee.

- You submit the request with us and provides us with the new owner information which needs to be exactly the same as the old owner information
- You'll receive a document from us which need to be completed and signed by the owner of the domain name. This document should be sent back to us

IDN:
IDN is supported. It is therefore possible to use certain special characters inside a domain name ending in .no.
