Friesland, a province in nothern Netherland, is one of the most unique and tight communities within Europe. Friesland is mainly associated with the Elfstedentocht (eleven cities tour), a 200 kilometer ice skating tour and with the Frisian language.

Until now, the Frisians didn't have a possibility to highlight their togetherness on the Internet. The .frl extension will probably change this.
