The Isle of Man
The Isle of Man, located in the Irish Sea, is also one of the Channel Islands. The name of the island may have been derived from the name of the Celtic god of the sea, Manánnan Mac Lir.
The two most important pillars of the economy are the insurance sector and the online gambling and eGaming sector. They are followed by the IT sector and the banking sector. The success of these sectors is mainly due to the favourable tax climate. For example, Man has no wealth and inheritance tax.
