Before a .iq domain name can be requested, a preliminary research needs to be requested from the registry to confirm if the name is available and what the price would be. This is a request for preliminary research, NOT the domain name registration itself!
The fee for this preliminary research (€ 60) will be deducted from the registration price.

No support for IDN. Only default Latin characters (without accents) are supported. Other characters (which are only possible via IDN) are not allowed to be used inside a domain name ending in .iq.
Only Iraqi company can register a .com.iq domain name. You need to take into account that when you register a .com.iq name, paperwork is required. We will supply you with the information about what is needed. Keep into account that it can take a couple of weeks before a .com.iq domain name is activated. Some .com.iq domain names are considered by the registry as "premium" and different rates apply. Whether a name is premium, can only be manually verified. The price may therefore still change after your order. If a name you order turns out to be premium, you can of course still cancel your request.
