How to Whitelist Our Forwarding-Server IP Addresses in Microsoft 365

In order to make sure mails forwarded to your MS365 account correctly arrive, you might need to add our forwarding mailservers IP's to the whitelisting in MS365. Please follow the below procedures for this.

1. Open the anti-spam policies in Microsoft 365 Defender

  • Sign in at https://security.microsoft.com with an account that has the Security Administrator or Global Administrator role.
  • In the left navigation, expand Email & collaboration - Policies & rules - Threat policies.
  • Choose Anti-spam policies. You’ll see a list that includes Connection filter policy (Default).

2. Edit the Connection Filter policy

  • Click Connection filter policy (Default) to open the details fly-out.
  • At the bottom, select Edit connection filter policy.
  • In the IP Allow list box, click + Add IP address/range, paste an address, then Add. Repeat for every IP in the list below:
    • 195.230.105.121
    • 83.96.232.244

Save the policy, then Close the pane. Changes propagate to Microsoft 365 datacentres in ~30 minutes.

Adding an IP to the IP Allow list tells Exchange Online Protection to skip spam filtering for mail originating from that address. Messages are still scanned for malware and high-confidence phishing, so you keep the core security layers while eliminating false-positive spam verdicts for our traffic.
