Liberalisation .pt coming soon!

On May 1st 2012 the liberalisation of the .pt domain will begin. From then on everyone who wishes to do so can register a domain name under the .pt extension. You will no longer need to be the owner of a trademark registered in Portugal or own a company name.

The total liberalisation of the .pt domain will be proceeded by a sunrise phase. This phase will start on March 1st 2012 and will end on April 30th 2012. During this phase owners of registered trademarks (not valid in Portugal), logo's, company names,... can register those names under the .pt domain.

So don't hesitate any longer and add .pt to your list of domain name extensions!
